On April 29, the 2024 UK Solar & Storage Live was launched at the ExCel in London. DMEGC Solar made a grand appearance with its newly upgraded Infinity RT series modules. Demonstrating brand strength with reliable, green and differentiated products, it became a hot spot of praise from the audience.
The upgraded Infinity RT series modules cover multiple application scenarios such as residential, C&I and utility power. The modules utilize high-efficiency N-type rectangular silicon wafer cells developed by DMEGC Solar, including two cell sizes: M10RT and G12RT, with mass production efficiency reaching 26.3%. Integrating SMBB, lossless dicing and other technologies, the power of 66-cell modules can reach 620W. Compared with 182-72 modules, the power is increased by up to 35w+ and the efficiency reaches 23%, reaching the industry-leading level. In terms of reliability, the modules have passed the IEC TS 63209-1:2021 extended stress test, and can adapt to a variety of complex climatic conditions. It also provides a maximum 25-year product warranty and a 30-year power warranty.
The 54-cell mono-facial black module on display this time inherits DMEGC Solar’s “Advanced Black Technology” and has upgraded the coating and blackout processes to make the color more consistent and harmonious. At the same time, the power reaches 455W and the efficiency exceeds 22.5%, allowing more efficient use of the roof area and reducing LCOE and BOS costs. Also on display is the 60-cell mono-facial black module with a power of 500W and an efficiency of 22.6%. It can meet the ultimate requirements for performance and appearance on industrial and commercial roofs, continuing to write the legend of DMEGC Solar’s black modules in European distribution PV market.
Thanks to factors such as rising energy prices, falling module costs, power CFD auctions, and renewable energy transition planning, the installed photovoltaic capacity in the UK increased significantly last year. Both residential and large-scale ground photovoltaics are gaining momentum. It is expected that the number of module installations in 2024 will be keep growing fast. DMEGC Solar has achieved impressive success in the European market in the past, and UK dealers and installers will witness the company's efforts to tap into this prosperous market in 2024.
