ENEX, the International Fair of Power Industry, Electrical Engineering and Renewable Sources of Energy, is one of Europe’s largest and most influential events dedicated to the energy sector. Organized annually by Targi Kielce, the fair has been running for over 28 editions and serves as a key barometer for the direction of energy transition.
As the host venue of ENEX, Targi Kielce's new exhibition hall is a state-of-the-art facility designed to host major international events. With expanded floor space, modern logistics, and enhanced visitor amenities, the hall represents a new era for the venue. But its ambition extends far beyond architecture and convenience – sustainability is now at its core. To match this vision, it has successfully completed a robust photovoltaic installation totaling 220 kW of capacity, comprising 370 high-efficiency DMEGC Solar PV modules. These solar panels are seamlessly integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of 1.044 MWh, creating a powerful and intelligent on-site energy ecosystem.

This project is a prime example of how combining solar generation with energy storage can unlock tangible benefits – especially in high-demand commercial facilities like exhibition centers, where energy loads are unpredictable and often peak during daytime events. By capturing surplus solar energy during off-peak hours and discharging it when demand spikes, the system not only reduces reliance on the grid but also significantly lowers operational costs. More importantly, it enhances energy independence, smooths consumption patterns, and actively supports grid stability by reducing strain during peak load periods. In a country like Poland, where energy security is a growing priority, this installation offers a replicable model for sustainable commercial infrastructure.
