On June 24, DMEGC Solar's highly acclaimed Infinity RT modules successfully registered for the Norwegian Environmental Product Declaration (EPD-Norge), once again demonstrating its leading position in the field of environmental protection technology and further enhancing its product competitiveness in the global market.
EPD-Norge is part of the global EPD system. It is based on the life cycle assessment (LCA) and has specially formulated PCR (product category rules) for PV products. It not only focuses on the environmental impact of the modules themselves, but also extends to the assessment of upstream materials such as cells, silicon wafers, silicon ingots and silicon materials. DMEGC Solar has worked closely with Kapstan, an internationally renowned environmental assessment agency, to analyze in detail the environmental impact of the Infinity RT modules throughout their life cycle from raw material procurement, production, transportation, installation to waste disposal, as well as the product's advantages in energy saving and emission reduction.
The successful registration of the Infinity RT module for the Norwegian EPD means that its environmental impact level has been recognized and has reached international advanced levels. Previously, DMEGC Solar modules have obtained several other low-carbon certifications, including EPD Italy, France PEP Ecopassport, and ISO14067 product carbon footprint certification, laying a solid foundation for its expansion in the European and global markets.
